Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 6 May, 2010 : - - Sarah Beardmore took the women’s title at the English National Surfing Championships in Newquay over the bank holiday weekend. During the two-day new season opener at Watergate Bay – sponsored by boardwear brand Protest – some of the hottest talent and emerging stars of the future of English surfing battled it out for the top spots at the hardcore surfing event where 12 National titles and pride were at stake.
Protest sponsored rider, Sarah Beardmore, 26, won every heat on her way to a resounding victory in the final to win the women’s division. Hannah Harding from Harlyn came second ahead of North Devon pair Karma Worthington and Lucy Campbell.
