Its been a very busy few weeks,we have been doing a number of boards for some of the guys competing in the Quiksilver Pro on the Goldy,a big thank you must go out to the glassers and sanders for their high quality finishing act,and getting the boards out in time, these boys are at the top of their game and with out them it wouldnt be possible,thanks Shuey,Luke and Beau.Theres been a fair bit of action around here in Ballina with a host of the top 45 coming down and enjoying the waves at Nth Wall,it been a high perfomance feast with guys like Taylor Knox,Tim Boal Michel Bourez Bobby Martinez Shaun Cansdel Jay Tomson and the rest mixing it up with local boys Steve and Anthony Walsh,Adam Melling,Stu Kennedy,Owen Wright,Dan Thomson,its a good idea to paddle in and watch as these guys go absolutly nuts on everything,Ryan Kenny has been on hand filming the boys so be sure to check out his up coming DVDs.Local Film maker Hamish Mckensie's new movie ''9 Balls'' will be out any day now,it show cases 9 surfers from the Lennox Head/Ballina area and has some amazing waves shot last winter.Flanagan Surfboards rep from Japan Kenya Yamada has been here the last week checking out the operation, tasting our beer and enjoying the BBQ's, he is super stoked with whats going on,Kenya is allso is a great surfer and we are very happy to have in in our team.
